Delete your account

You can delete your Twayn account and the data that comes with it at any time. Here’s how, and what happens.

In the app

  1. Open Twayn and tap You.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately and you’re signed out.

Without the app

Email support@twayn.tryletterway.com from the address you sign in with, with the subject “Delete my Twayn account”. We’ll confirm it’s you, delete your account and data, and reply within 7 days.

What gets deleted

  • Your profile: name, birthday, gender, photos, bio, prompts and social handles
  • Your plans, stops and “Here now” check-ins
  • Hellos and messages you sent and received
  • Your passes, blocks, filters and settings
  • Your sign-in account and email address

What we may keep

Reports you made about other people, and records of accounts removed for breaking our rules, may be kept for as long as needed to protect the community and meet legal obligations. Backup copies expire within 30 days.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account doesn’t cancel a Twayn Plus subscription, because Google Play and the App Store handle billing. Cancel it first in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions) or in your Apple ID settings.
