Child safety standards

Last updated 10 October 2026

Twayn has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These are our published standards, as required of social apps on Google Play and the App Store.

Adults only

  • Twayn is only for people aged 18 and over. Everyone confirms their birthday at sign-up, and accounts under 18 can’t be created.
  • Members can report anyone who appears to be under 18 using the “Under 18” report reason. We remove accounts we believe belong to minors.

What is prohibited

  • Any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers children, including images, videos, drawings, text or links.
  • Grooming, or any attempt to contact, meet or obtain images from a minor.
  • Using Twayn to arrange, advertise or facilitate the trafficking or exploitation of anyone.

How to report

  • In the app: on their profile tap Report at the bottom, or in your conversation tap ⋯ → Report, then choose a reason. Reports are confidential.
  • By email: support@twayn.tryletterway.com, with the subject “Child safety report”.
  • If a child is in immediate danger, contact local police or emergency services first.

How we act

  • We review child safety reports as our top priority, within 24 hours.
  • We remove offending content and permanently ban the accounts involved.
  • We report CSAM and credible threats to children to the relevant authorities, including the NCMEC CyberTipline and national law enforcement (in Pakistan, the FIA Cybercrime Wing), and we preserve evidence as the law requires.
  • We comply with applicable child safety laws.
